Editorial Policy
This page explains how Vidam Wellness creates, checks and updates content.
Sources we rely on
We prioritise primary sources: U.S. government health agencies such as the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), the CDC and NIH; Cochrane systematic reviews; and peer-reviewed randomised trials. Secondary sources are used only to find primary ones. Every article lists its sources at the end.
How claims are graded
We separate three kinds of statements: what research has confirmed, what is widely practised but not well studied, and what belongs to tradition. You will see this distinction written into our pages.
Review
Pages on health conditions are reviewed by a qualified professional before publication where a reviewer is named on the page, with the review date shown. Practice guides are checked by an experienced yoga teacher.
Corrections
If you spot an error, email us. We correct factual errors promptly and note substantive changes on the page. We only change a page’s “updated” date when the content has meaningfully changed.
Independence
Advertisers and sponsors never see or approve editorial content before publication. Sponsored content is always labelled.
